Get ready for an inspiring night. The brightest minds from Nijmegen will share the latest innovations and their vision of our future. Here’s what’s on the menu:

– Panel Discussion: People with top positions in business, academia, and government discuss the future of innovation in the Nijmegen area. Our guests are Michiel Scheffer (EU), Cécile de Boer (HAN), Doeco Terpstra (NXP) and John Brom (Municipality Nijmegen).

– Bertrik Berfelo has won the title ‘HAN lecturer of the year 2024’. He is about to show you how Esports, (Exer)gaming & Gamification can be used to address complex societal issues. While the €9 million EU funding is managed by EPSI in Eindhoven, he collaborates with them as part of the National Core Group on Exergaming to make impact!

– Saskia Eijkelhof: The CEO of EnginX is here to explain how they’re making engineering cooler, faster, and smarter with their data-driven approach. We will zoom in on what it means to start a tech company in Nijmegen.

– Alex Khajetoorians: This Radboud University physics professor works on Neuromorphics, can we build a computer that thinks like a brain? Prepare to have your mind blown! 

– Victor Hogeweij: Victor represents a team that is one of the eight finalists of the INNOVATE challenge ‘The Most Innovative Student in the Netherlands’. They wonder if a robot can help out the elderly, caregivers, and families. To do so they are making it happen by using the latest vital signs monitoring technologies, LLM’s and more!

Will we be seeing flying cars anytime soon? Jon Feenstra will share the latest updates on the NIFTIproject (National Individual Floating Transport Infrastructure).
