1. What problem are you solving?
Our solution maps the cellular response to potential drug molecules in unprecedented detail, leading to a significantly lower cost and risk of the drug development process.
We are contributing to SDG3: Good health and well-being thanks to our solution.
2. What drives you?
We want to offer a service to pharma companies to determine the successful drug at the very early stage. It is our mission to dramatically lower the costs of bringing new drugs to the market.
3. What support did you get from Mercator Launch?
Mercator Launch helped us with courses and individual coaching sessions in defining our business case, providing insight into the feasibility and the long-term perspective of our idea. We attended the Innovation Competition (and were runnerup) organised by Mercator Launch and we are currently following the Venture Track.
4. What are the future plans for Monoceros Analytics?
Short-term strategy will be based on the development of our product portfolio (showcases), improvement of our technology and providing service to big pharma companies.
5. What do you need to make this happen?
We need some initial funding to carry out showcase studies on the mode of action of drug molecules using our platform. We plan to specialize at the beginning in the field of oncology and infectious diseases.
6. What tip would you offer other entrepreneurs?
True entrepreneurship is about “doing”, not “dreaming”. Be prepared to take many lessons: dare to start, fail, learn quickly and try it again until you succeed.
