Cookie as a service: delivering happiness at your doorstep: a (subscription) box full of delicious cookies.
2. What is your mission?
We want to make people happy with cookies. We want to make impact in the world of cookies by creating the best flavor combinations, using sustainable packaging, creating a unique cookie experience and we want to make our cookies available through different online and offline channels.
3. How did Mercator Launch help you?
During the IMPROVE program, the business coaches helped me develop a good business case for ‘cookie as a service’.
4. What are the future plans for Van Eigen Deeg?
During Corona we started our online webshop. And that went really well. During the quarantine, people wanted to let others know that they were thinking about them… so there was a big market for people wanting to send cookies with a personal note attached to it. We jumped in and were really successful. In the coming months, we will build a new platform for Cookie as a Service, so we can expand our online services.
5. What do you need to make this happen?
We found an investor who will help us further expand our platform, so we’re really happy right now!
6. If you can give one piece of advice to future entrepreneurs, what would it be?
If you have an idea, just go for it. Make a plan and make your idea better by testing, testing and then some more… testing! Just do it.
